Glyn Davies, ReVera
Glyn Davies joined ReVera in March 2010 as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the company’s Board of Directors. Glyn has held a variety of positions in executive management, business development, marketing and sales. Most recently, he served four years as President of Negevtech, Inc., a venture-backed semiconductor capital equipment start-up. Under his leadership, Negevtech increased market share and grew revenues to greater than $30M. Prior to Negevtech, Glyn served as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Credence Systems, with a focus on strategic marketing and M&A. During his time at Credence, he drove several strategic acquisitions, developed the company’s product portfolio and increased served markets. Prior to Credence, Glyn spent 11 years at KLA-Tencor, a multi-billion dollar wafer inspection and metrology equipment provider. He held senior management positions in business development and marketing, and was responsible for the formation and leadership of the Yield Management Software group at Tencor before the merger with KLA. Prior to KLA-Tencor, he served in marketing and engineering positions at Cambridge Instruments and Nanometrics. Glyn holds a BS in Electronic Computer and Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, England.

Alain Harrus, Crosslink Capital
Alain Harrus is a Partner at Crosslink Capital, focusing on the firm's Core Technology/Semiconductor venture investing activities. He has spent more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry as a technologist and an investor in high-growth early-stage companies. Before joining Alain spent seven years and remains a General Partner at Compass Technology Partners investing in technology-intensive, early stage companies. His industry experience includes Novellus Instruments, Lam Research and AT&T Bell Laboratories. During his tenure at Novellus, his roles ranged from director of technology for dielectrics to director of strategic marketing, where he championed the company's pursuit of a total copper metallization solution for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. In February 1996, he became Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Novellus, chartered with evaluating new technologies and opportunities designed to fuel Novellus' growth in target markets. At Lam Research, he served as director of deposition technology in the chemical vapor deposition business unit. As a member of AT&T Bell Laboratories' advanced materials development group, he developed thermal and plasma processes for thin film dielectrics deposition for semiconductor device manufacturing. He holds a BS in Mathematics and MS in Physics from the University of Paris XI at Orsay, France and Ph.D. in Experimental Solid State Physics from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Dave Perloff, Founder, Prometrix Corporation
Dave Perloff has extensive experience in both the start-up and business development phase of companies providing metrology solutions for use in high volume semiconductor manufacturing. He was the founder and President of Prometrix Corporation (1983) until its merger with Tencor Instruments in 1993, where he subsequently served as VP and General Manager of the Film Measurement Division. He joined Veeco Instruments as President of its newly formed Process Metrology Division in 1997 and in 1999 took on a Business Development role focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Perloff serves on the Board of Directors of Voyan Technology and OnWafer Technologies. He received the prestigious SEMMY Award in 1989 for his pioneering work in semiconductor metrology. Dave is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (BA, Physics) and Brown University (Ph.D. Physics).

Dave Ring, President, Minco
Dave Ring was the President and CEO of ReVera, Incorporated from its founding in 2003 until 2009. He is currently the President of Minco, a leading provider of flexible circuits, flexible heaters, temperature sensors and instruments. Before forming ReVera, Mr. Ring had been the President and CEO of Physical Electronics, joining the company in 2001. While at Physical Electronics, Dave led a significant restructuring of the company that resulted in the “carve out” of the legacy analytical instrument division to ULVAC Corporation and the “spin out” of the Metrology Division of Physical Electronics, resulting in the formation of ReVera. During his time at Physical Electronics, Mr. Ring was also responsible for the Evans Analytical Group, which was a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Prior to Physical Electronics, Mr. Ring was employed by LTX Corporation, a leading supplier of semiconductor test equipment, where he was Executive Vice President of LTX's Worldwide Customer Operations Group. Prior to LTX Corporation, Mr. Ring was President of the Microelectronics Group of Entegris, Incorporated, a leading provider of wafer handling products, where he was responsible for global sales and marketing, product development, operations and quality for high performance device and substrate handling solutions sold into the electronics market. Mr. Ring holds a degree in business from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Lehigh University.more
Dr. Graham J. Siddall, Former Chairman and CEO, Credence Systems
Dr. Siddall served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Credence Systems from August 2001 until his retirement in October 2005. Prior to joining Credence, Dr. Siddall was an executive vice president of KLA-Tencor Corporation,a leading supplier of process control and yield management equipment for the semiconductor industry. Prior to the merger of Tencor Instruments and KLA Instruments, Dr. Siddall served as chief operating officer and executive vice president of Tencor Instruments. He has served as president of research, development and engineering at GCA Corporation in addition to various senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, W.W. Hansen Laboratory of Physics at Stanford University and Rank Taylor Hobson. Dr. Siddall is a past president of the American Society for Precision Engineering. In addition to his seat on ReVera's board, Dr. Siddall serves as the Chairman of the Board of DCG Systems, Inc., a provider of leading edge design diagnostics and failure analysis technologies to the semiconductor industry. An accomplished technologist, Dr. Siddall holds several patents and earned his M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Natural Philosophy (Physics) in 1971 and 1975, respectively from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. He previously earned a BS degree in Production Engineering and Management with First Class honors from the University of Nottingham in England.more
Michael Stark, Founder and General Partner, Crosslink Capital
Michael Stark is a co-founder of Crosslink Capital. He oversees all public and venture capital investment activities and is active in the firm’s core technology/semiconductor venture initiative. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of Nucore, Plato Networks and Virage Logic. Past investments include Magma Design (NASDAQ - LAVA), Virage Logic (NASDAQ - VIRL), Vertrue (NASDAQ - VRTU), On Display (acquired by Vignette), Cirrus Logic (NASDAQ - CRUS), Cypress Semiconductor (NYSE - CY), Vitesse Semiconductor (NASDAQ - VTSS) and Xilinx (NASDAQ - XLNX). Prior to Crosslink Capital, Mike joined Robertson Stephens & Co. in 1983 where he served as director of research and equity analyst covering the semiconductor and software industries. Before that he was at Intel Corporation. He received a B.S. Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA with honors from the University of Michigan.more
Pete Thomas, Managing Director, ATA Ventures
Pete Thomas is a co-founder of ATA Ventures. He comes to ATA having enjoyed a highly successful career in venture capital activities across the past 20 years. In 1985, he joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) as a General Partner, prior to which he spent two years at Technology Venture Investors (TVI ) as an associate. Pete currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Atmel (ATML), Transmeta (TMTA), Nanogram, Neophotonics, Cswitch, @Road (ARDI), and Applied Medical Resources. Prior to venture capital activities, Pete was at Intel Corporation for 7 years. Prior to Intel, he held engineering positions at Fairchild Communications Division and at Sylvania EDL. Pete graduated magna cum laude in 1968 with a BSEE degree from Utah State University. He received his MS in Computer Science from the University of Santa Clara in 1975.more
