ReVera Adds Experienced Executive to Lead its Asia Pacific Sales Organization
Scott Ritterbush joins the ReVera team as Director of Asia Pacific Sales
Sunnyvale, Calif. April 24, 2006 – ReVera Incorporated, the materials metrology company, today announced
that it has appointed Scott Ritterbush as Director of Asia Pacific Sales. Ritterbush’s semiconductor
industry experience includes a variety of management, marketing and engineering roles for companies
including NxEdge and Applied Materials. In his new role with ReVera, Ritterbush will be based in
Taiwan and be responsible for leading the company’s sales and business efforts throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Ritterbush brings more than 11 years experience in process engineering, marketing, and capital
equipment business development to ReVera. Prior to joining ReVera in 2006, Ritterbush led product
marketing and business development for NxEdge, a venture-backed early stage company with businesses
in semiconductor equipment, components, and services. Prior to NxEdge, Ritterbush worked at Applied
Materials as a CVD process engineer, in product marketing for thermal products, and as head of Asia
business management for the ion implantation business unit. He also worked in the spares and services
business unit where he led Applied Materials’ efforts to globally position its equipment refurbishment
product offering. Ritterbush received his BS in Geology from MIT and an MS in Material Science and Engineering from MIT.
