John Samuels and Jim Dodsworth join the company in marketing and sales leadership roles

Sunnyvale, Calif., June 19, 2006 – ReVera Incorporated, the materials metrology company, today announced that it has recently expanded its leadership team with key additions to it marketing and sales organizations. John Samuels, Ph.D., has been appointed director of product marketing, and Jim Dodsworth has been appointed director of North American sales. The company also noted that Bryan Phelan, previously responsible for sales in North America and Europe, has been promoted to vice president of worldwide sales.

Samuels is a semiconductor industry veteran with over 11 years experience developing and marketing semiconductor capital equipment. In his new role as director of product marketing for ReVera, Samuels is responsible for ensuring ReVera’s materials metrology products provide the necessary process control to speed development and maximize production yields of the most advanced IC devices. Prior to joining ReVera, Samuels was the senior global product manager for the optical thin film metrology product line at Therma-Wave. Prior to that, he held a variety of senior product management and technology roles at Novellus Systems. Samuels holds a BA in chemistry and economics from the University of California, San Diego, and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Indiana University.

Dodsworth brings over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and engineering for semiconductor capital equipment, most recently for companies including Nextest, Therma-Wave and Asyst Technologies. In his new role as director of North American sales for ReVera, Dodsworth is responsible for leading the company’s sales and business efforts throughout the region. He holds a BA in physics from Occidental College and an MBA from the University of California, Berkley.

Phelan joined ReVera in 2005 as director of sales for North America and Europe. In his new role as vice president of worldwide sales, Phelan is responsible for leading ReVera’s global sales team, as well as the worldwide customer service organization.
