Sunnyvale, Calif., April 11, 2005 – ReVera Inc., continuing to build upon the rapid market acceptance of its semiconductor metrology solutions, has significantly enhanced the bandwidth and capabilities of its leadership team by adding three experienced semiconductor industry executives. The hiring of Timothy Welch as Chief Financial Officer and J. Dave Ring, ReVera’s President and CEO, said, “To drive our continued growth, we have placed a strong emphasis on building a leadership team with individuals that have a proven record of success in the semiconductor capital equipment market. Tim, Kelly, and Rodney developed their leadership skills in high performance, well-respected organizations and I’m confident their great energy and significant talents will help bring further success to ReVera.”

In addition to his finance experience, he has held a number of operating positions including President of Imtec Acculine.

Bolstering its capabilities in marketing and customer operations, the company added Dr. Truman as Vice President of Marketing, bringing depth in semiconductor technology and strategic marketing, and created a new VP of Customer Operations position, filled by Tom Larson. Dr. Truman brings to the company over 20 years of technology leadership and marketing experience in the electronics industry. Prior to joining ReVera, Truman built up and served as General Manager of the Wet Clean Division at Applied Materials, where he had previously been responsible for product and strategic marketing for the new Rapid Thermal Processing Division through its growth into the multi-product Thermal Processing Group. Immediately prior to joining ReVera he spent a year on the Materials Science faculty of the University of Florida, working on multidisciplinary advanced materials programs while also consulting for major semiconductor capital equipment companies. He has also held technical positions with Conductus, CVC, and Tektronix.

Mr. Smedt, the new Vice President of Engineering, brings over twenty years experience in successful engineering management, including product development and rollout to manufacturing. Prior to joining ReVera, he served as the Vice President of Engineering for Therma-Wave Inc, a leading manufacturer of Thin Film and Ion Implant Metrology Equipment.
